What is worship? What is Worship ? Different forms of worship? Is there a wrong way to worship? What is the true meaning of worship? What is the purpose of worship? Genesis 24:26 [26] And the man bowed down his head, and worshipped the Lord.  Genesis 24:52 [52] And it came to pass, that, when Abraham's servant heard their words, he worshipped the Lord, bowing himself to the earth. Exodus 34:8 [8] And Moses made haste, and bowed his head toward the earth, and worshipped.  2 Chronicles 29:28-30 [28] And all the congregation worshipped, and the singers sang, and the trumpeters sounded: and all this continued until the burnt offering was finished. [29] And when they had made an end of offering, the king and all that were present with him bowed themselves, and worshipped. [30] Moreover Hezekiah the king and the princes commanded the Levites to sing praise unto the Lord with the words of David, and of Asaph the seer. And they sang praises with gladness, and they bowed thei...

DEUTERONOMY 28:68 EXPLAINED

Deuteronomy 28:68

[68]And the LORD shall bring thee into Egypt again with ships, by the way whereof I spake unto thee, Thou shalt see it no more again: and there ye shall be sold unto your enemies for bondmen and bondwomen, and no man shall buy you.

1) What is the word Egypt referring to?

According to many Precepts like:

Exodus 13:3

[3]And Moses said unto the people, Remember this day, in which ye came out from Egypt, out of the house of bondage; for by strength of hand the LORD brought you out from this place: there shall no leavened bread be eaten.

Exodus 20:2

[2]I am the LORD thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.

Deuteronomy 5:6

[6]I am the LORD thy God, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage.

Deuteronomy 6:12

[12]Then beware lest thou forget the LORD, which brought thee forth out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage.

Deuteronomy 7:8

[8]But because the LORD loved you, and because he would keep the oath which he had sworn unto your fathers, hath the LORD brought you out with a mighty hand, and redeemed you out of the house of bondmen, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt.

And many others

Egypt refers to the house of bondage.

So a house of bondage doesn't have to be in a particular place, it can be anywhere you were taken into captivity/slavery.

So then TMH shall bring you into the house of bondage (anywhere) again with ships, I hope you see how that ties in.

Not in physical Egypt, just the bondage part which is also called slavery.

Then he tells you how you were going to go into bondage by stating in ships.

Which has happened in history already when it came to the trans atlantic slave trade.

Then he says; by the way whereof I spake unto thee, Thou shalt see it no more again.

So in other words, TMH told us in previous chapters that we would not go back to Egypt right?

You can find this in Deuteronomy 17:16.

[16]But he shall not multiply horses to himself, nor cause the people to return to Egypt, to the end that he should multiply horses: forasmuch as the LORD hath said unto you, Ye shall henceforth return no more that way.

So which means, it cannot be looked at as Egypt exactly but rather the bondage/slavery he was speaking about.

Then he says : and there ye shall be sold unto your enemies for bondmen and bond women.

So bondmen are (men slaves) and bondwomen are (women slaves) right?

So in other words. Israel was sold to the other nations (which are their enemies) according to:

Psalms 83:5-8

[5]For they have consulted together with one consent: they are confederate against thee:

[6]The tabernacles of Edom, and the Ishmaelites; of Moab, and the Hagarenes;

[7]Gebal, and Ammon, and Amalek; the Philistines with the inhabitants of Tyre;

[8]Assur also is joined with them: they have holpen the children of Lot. Selah.

And lastly he says: and no man shall buy you.

In simple terms, if you look at our history and the laws attached, you will see in order to save your hebrew brother or sister from a stranger/enemy/slavemaster, you could have bought them from their slavemasters if you had the money or collateral to do so.

You can see an example of this in Leviticus 25:47-50.

[47]And if a sojourner or stranger wax rich by thee, and thy brother that dwelleth by him wax poor, and sell himself unto the stranger or sojourner by thee, or to the stock of the stranger's family:

[48]After that he is sold he may be redeemed again; one of his brethren may redeem him:

[49]Either his uncle, or his uncle's son, may redeem him, or any that is nigh of kin unto him of his family may redeem him; or if he be able, he may redeem himself.

[50]And he shall reckon with him that bought him from the year that he was sold to him unto the year of jubile: and the price of his sale shall be according unto the number of years, according to the time of an hired servant shall it be with him.

So the meaning of no man shall buy you means none of your brethren can buy you from your slavemaster, because they would not be able to, therefore you will not be saved from your slavery.
