Deuteronomy 22:5 Explained

 

Pride

Deuteronomy 22:5

[5]The woman shall not wear that which pertaineth unto a man, neither shall a man put on a woman's garment: for all that do so are abomination unto the LORD thy God.


Precept:

Romans 1:26-27

[26]For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:

[27]And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.



In Deuteronomy 22;5 TMH spoke to the females first, The Most High individually said to the woman that she should not ware (meaning : put on) that which pertaineth to a man.


A woman cannot stop looking like a woman unless she changes her organs to what a man has, and that is exactly what Romans 1:26 addresses.

No amount of baggy clothes that a woman wears can change her femininity.


But changing the natural use of a woman according to Romans 1:26 is what The Most High was referring to, so it is only right for The Most High to address it.


Please note that “garment” was not mentioned in the first command directed at women.


Now The Most High goes on to speak to the male saying, “Neither shall a man put on a woman's garment, for all that do so are abomination unto The Most High”

"Neither" definition:

used before the first of two (or occasionally more) alternatives (the others being introduced by ‘nor’) to indicate that they are each untrue or each does not happen.

"unlike her friends, she is neither a snob nor a gossip"

this coveys that the term "neither" can be used when speaking about two different things or persons.

A man shall not put on a woman's garment- meaning clothes in this command, it is clearly stating, singling out men, not to wear women's clothes.

Challange: Can you find anywhere in the bible where it clearly states that Deuteronomy 22:5 has anything to do with the use of pants? 

In all things, we must read to UNDERSTAND and not to RESPOND, in the garden, he made them male and female, these two species are very different in their functions and are not nearly alike.


Romans 1:27, Unlike wise, also the men leaving the natural use of the woman burned in their lust one towards another, men with men, working that which is unseemingly and receiving in themselves of that recompense error which was met.


So essentially, this scripture is speaking about what the female individually does and what the male individually does to practice “Homosexuality / Sodomy”. Which also falls along the lines of sexual immorality and by extention, fornication.


The scriptures that are associated with particular sin is . .

[9]Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,

• 1 Timothy 1:10

[10]For whoremongers, for them that defile themselves with mankind, for menstealers, for liars, for perjured persons, and if there be any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine;

whoremonger TMH definition- A person that defiles themselves with mankind.

• Leviticus 18:22

[22]Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.

• Leviticus 20:13

[13]If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.

• 1 Kings 14:24

[24]And there were also sodomites in the land: and they did according to all the abominations of the nations which the LORD cast out before the children of Israel.

• 2 Kings 23:7

[7]And he brake down the houses of the sodomites, that were by the house of the LORD, where the women wove hangings for the grove.

Romans 1:24-31

• Deuteronomy 23:17

[17]There shall be no whore of the daughters of Israel, nor a sodomite of the sons of Israel.
